山本浩司 Koji Yamamoto

経済学研究科准教授。専門は、初期近代イギリスの経営・経済史・知識文化。著書に黎明期資本主義の「てなずけ」を扱った歴史研究 Taming Capitalism before its Triumph（ケンブリッジ大学出版局、2018年）、編著に誇張やステレオタイプが初期近代イギリス社会において果たした役割を論じる論文集 Stereotypes and Stereotyping（マンチェスター大学出版局、2022年）、共編著に『歴史と心理学と橋渡しする』（2012年）など。

Ph. D. in history, University of York (UK), and Associate Professor at the U-Tokyo Graduate School of Economics, I am an historian of early modern England, with particular interest on businesses, knowledge, politics and culture. I have published on economic improvement, state-formation, stereotypes and economic ‘projects’ in England between 1600 and 1720. Recently, I have been drawn towards gender history and the history of the South Sea Bubble.

ヒロ・ヒライ Hiro Hirai

経済学研究科特任准教授。専門は西欧ルネサンス学、錬金術史・占星術史・魔術史。英仏伊語による共編著・論文多数。日本語の共編著に『ミクロコスモス』（月曜社、2010年）、『知のミクロコスモス』（中央公論新社、2014年）、『ルネサンス・バロックのブックガイド』（工作舎、2019年）など。学術ウェブサイト bibliotheca hermetica（略称BH）とユーチューブ『BHチャンネル』を主宰。第九回日本学術振興会賞受賞（2012年）。

Ph.D. in philosophy and history of science, University of Lille 3 (France), and Project Associate Professor at the U-Tokyo Graduate School of Economics, I have published widely on Renaissance and early modern natural philosophy, medicine and alchemy, including Le concept de semence (2005) and Medical Humanism and Natural Philosophy (2011).  I also co-edited Pseudo-Paracelsus (2022).  I am currently finishing my third monograph on Renaissance philosophy, medicine and magic.

藤岡 里圭 Rika Fujioka

経済学研究科教授。大阪市立大学大学院経営学研究科博士後期課程単位取得退学。博士（商学）。長崎県立大学経済学部講師、助教授、大阪経済大学経営学部助教授、准教授、教授、関西大学商学部教授を経て、2024年4月より現職。専門は、日本経営史、流通史、流通システム論。最近は、グローバル化とデジタル化の下でどのように小売業の競争優位が変化しているのかに関する研究と、アパレル企業が日本でどのように生成し、百貨店やデザイナーとともにいかに発展してきたのかに関する研究を行っている。

Professor at the U-Tokyo Graduate School of Economics. Doctor of Commerce, Osaka City University. Prior to joining the U-Tokyo in April 2024, I was a lecturer and an associate professor at Nagasaki Prefecture University (2000-2003), an associate professor and a professor at Osaka University of Economics (2004-2011), and also a professor at Kansai University (2012-2023). My research fields are retail history, business history, and retail management. My current research focuses on changing competitive advantages in retailing under globalization and digitalization, in addition, how the apparel industry emerged and developed in Japan alongside department stores and designers.

城山 智子 Tomoko Shiroyama

経済学研究科教授。Ph.D. in history (Harvard University, 1999). 専門分野は中国経済史とアジア経済史、とくに中国と国際経済との関係を貿易や資金移動、移民などに注目して研究している。近年は、科学研究費基盤研究（S）「近代アジアにおける水圏と社会経済：データベースと空間解析による新しい地域史の探求」（2017〜2022年）で研究代表者を務めた。

Professor of Asian Economic History at the U-Tokyo Graduate School of Economics. I earned a Ph.D. in History from Harvard University in 1999. As a historian of China and Asia, my research explores China’s global connections through the commodity trade, financial flows, and the migration of traders and laborers. Most recently, I led the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (S) project, The Hydrosphere and Socioeconomics in Modern Asia: Exploring a New Regional History Using a Database and Spatial Analysis (2017–2022).

沖野眞已 Masami Okino

法学政治学研究科教授。東京大学法学部卒業。ヴァージニア大学ロースクールLLM。東京大学法学部助手、筑波大学社会科学系専任講師、学習院大学法学部助教授・教授、一橋大学法学研究科教授を経て、2010年10月より現職。専門は民法、信託法、消費者法。共著に『民法１総則』（有斐閣、2024年）、『講義債権法改正』（商事法務、2017年）、論文に「フランスにおける契約の解釈(1)～(3)」（法学協会雑誌）など。

Professor of Law at the U-Tokyo Graduate Schools for Law and Politics, I was a Lecturer at Tsukuba University (1990-1993), Associate Professor at Gakushuin University (1993-1999), Professor at Gakushuin University (1999-2007) and Professor at Hitotsubashi University (2007-2010). I am teaching civil law (covering general principles, contracts, torts, law of obligations in general, property, family law and law of successions), consumer law, and trust law. My main study area is contracts and juridical acts, law of obligations, trust law and consumer contract law.

サイモン・ヴァンドゥワラ Simon A.W. Vande Walle

大学院法学政治学研究科教授。ルーヴェン・カトリック大学法学部卒業後、同大学で法学修士号を取得。九州大学で修士（法学）および博士（法学）を取得し、ジョージタウン大学ローセンターでLLMを修了。リンクレーターズ法律事務所（ブリュッセル）で弁護士として勤務後、欧州委員会競争総局で審査官を務める。専門は競争法（独占禁止法）と比較法。

Professor of Law at the U-Tokyo Graduate Schools for Law and Politics, I am specializing in competition (antitrust) law. Previously, I served as an official at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition, and worked as a lawyer at an international law firm in Brussels. I studied law at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (LLB, LLM), Kyushu University (LLM, LLD) and Georgetown University Law Center (LLM).
