アカデミック・プレスウィーク Academic Press Week
ケンブリッジ大学出版局を中心とした海外の学術出版社から熟達した編集者をゲストに迎え、年1回の頻度で開催する事業です。2019年に開始された東京大学に所属する研究者を対象とした「英文図書刊行支援事業」を継承し、2024年度から当センターの企画運営のもとに、国内の諸研究機関に所属する研究者にひろく門戸を開いています。
海外で英文による著作を刊行した国内研究者の実体験にもとづいた講演会、図書企画書（ブックプロポーザル）の書き方や落とし穴などを実践的に学べるワークショップ「ブックプロポーザル・クリニック」、そしてゲスト編集者との個別面談などから構成されています。
The University of Tokyo International Publishing Initiative (UT-IPI), founded in 2019, was handed over to our Center in 2024. We have opened the door not only to those who belong to U-Tokyo but also to those who work in other Japanese research institutions. Renamed “Academic Press Week” (APW), it consists of 1) lectures by leading Japanese scholars on their experience publishing their English monograph; 2) the Book Proposal Clinic, a workshop on the best practice for book proposal writing; and 3) individual consultations with our guest editors.
